    Embarcadero DocWiki for Rio

OT: I liked the depressive design, it fit well with the daily frustrating experience with the IDE. 👿
  2. G+ is slightly different. As Owner or Moderator you can only remove posts or comments, not edit them. A post that is removed from a community, remains on the profile of the original poster. I am already missing G+ a lot.

    Embarcadero DocWiki for Rio

(I am not sure if this should go to Off-Topic.) I am not sure Embarcadero intended this - The new DocWiki template for Rio has nice colours that look less depressing, but they've really overexaggerated the borders padding. Please take a look at the attached pictures for comparison. What would be the best place at Embarcadero to ask about this?

    Watch list, inaccessible value

It's off by default. I'm not sure whether it is even possible to change that default.

    Watch list, inaccessible value

Double-click on the watch-list item and check "Allow side effects and function calls" or assign "self" to a local variable for debugging.

TurboDB 6 VCL anyone using ?

As for an embedded database, I would rather use SQlite3 or even FireBird, which has an embedded version. They are OpenSource, cross-platform, well maintained and have high feature set.

    MMX for Delphi 10.3 Rio

Yes ist must be the last unit, but the real problem is the IDE not finding the correct Unit....... We should not need a third-party tool for these kind of functionality. It should be work out of the Box, that's the reason for a IDE!!!
  8. If I had a dime for every time some "simple test code" ended in production... 😋
  9. Just for the records - about the TOS: of course an administrator must have the right to modify posts - think about posts with links to piracy-sites for example. Depending on the circumstances we just snip out an offending link - instead of deleting the whole post or banning the user. I understand that a TOS might sound scary to a person that reads such a thing for the first time. But at least in the European Union it is close to impossible to provide a service like this without a proper TOS - most likely similar to this one.
  10. This release addresses problems with disabled IDE themes and Delphi 10.2 Tokyo releases below 10.2.3 (and some smaller bugs): https://www.mmx-delphi.de/2018/12/31/bugfix-release-for-mmx-code-explorer/
