Delphi 10.3 Update 2 available

It usually takes some days to mark them as closed after they release a new version. This is because they have two different servers one for internal issues and one for public issues.

Apparently the new macOS Delphi compiler is based on the LLVM compiler. I wonder if future Delphi compilers for Win32 / Win64 will also be build on top of LLVM?

Would this improve the speed of the final executables?

do they mean the "Web Installer"

Yes, because unlike the ISO you can use Tools>Manage Platforms to add/remove 'Features'

First impressions (Feature Installer):

  • Make a registry backup, it wiped out paths again
  • Breaks 'Documentation Insight', reinstalling that did not solve the problem
  • IDE Fix Pack throws an error so the compiler was changed, however compiling without appears as if its much slower than 10.3.1

AFAUK Documentation Insight has a problem with 10.3.2 and there is a hotfix available. Since 10.3.2 was freshly announced I guess hotfix is not publicly available (announced), yet. You should ask for it at http://www.devjetsoftware.com/

I did by sending a bug report.

This error always shows. Uninstall/reinstall Fix pack or even better uninstall it before upgrading to 10.3.2

Did that, still occurs.

But honestly I like to run without the Fix Pack for a while to see where we stand, and without doing an actual speed test I'd say 10.3.2 compiles slower than 10.3.1.

Is it me or there isn't 64-bit macOS target for 10.3.2 Community Edition ?

It's even missing in the enterprise edition!

They are not down...they are just bent by the overwhelming demand.

Are there direct links to the web installers? CC is really slow...
