When opening the GetIt window in Delphi 10.3.1 I get this error message:

The original GetIT-Server is down. For 10.3.2 there is a temporary one. For older versions you have to wait until embt solve their technical problems and restore the service.

What is the cause of the server malfunction? High temperatures? Why not building data centers in the Arctic? At least we could get funny error messages like: "A polar bear caused a malfunction in our datacenter".

Did you try the URL fix for 10.3.2? In my case it worked even for 10.2.3, so you might be lucky, too.

I wonder what folks will do that just paid money for their brand new Delphi and could not get it installed for almost a month. If that happened to me I would have wanted my money back, pronto. The good folks at Idera should consider renaming the thing to "NotGettinIt"

The original GetIT-Server should be back.

I just tested it in 10.2.3 and 10.3.2 (with temporary and standard ServiceUrl), works all.

Yes it works. But i.e. don't try do get FastReport for 10.2.x. It's only for 10.3.x.

This problem can be resolved by getting it directly from FastReport but what about other tools or components at the GetIt-Server?

It took more than one month to find a solution? Strange, isn't it?

Seems they totally lost control of the situation. The remaining skeleton crew is hopelessly streched with the challenges.

Products must be delivered with reduced extent but are full of bugs. Features are pushed or are dropped. I see no real progress.

... yes, it's not easy to be a Delphi customer.

Hard to imagine if they lose the license server next time.

It is not really working for me.

Every time I try to install something from GetIt I run into the same message "Internal Check Error".

There is also an error message for the Platform Selection "Cannot load data from the server. ….."

The GetIt settings are the "original" ones and I did not modify the registry for the solution between.

I'm working with 10.2.3 , try to install Ribbon package with original GetIt server and return error during install (internal check error).

Note: today 16/08/2019 I can install the Ribbon packege, ¡it worked¡

My Delphi 10.3.2 IDE is still unable to retrieve the Android SDK.  It throws the error "Cannot load data from the server. Please check your connection status" when I try to build an Android app.

Both with the original settings and the alternative ones.

Not sure how this fits with:

Hi,

Have you tried the new patches?
http://blog.marcocantu.com/blog/2019-august-more-patches-update-getit.html

HTH,

Clément

No. GetIt itself does work now and shows me lots of libraries, but Delphi 10.3.2 Rio is unable to automatically download/install the Android SDK.

If anyone buys & Installs Delphi now (from the iso) with the intention of developing for Android, he'll be disappointed.

Regards,Arthur
