It makes no difference whether Delphi is installed on a virtual or real machine. One installation takes one activation. If you run out of activations, you have to contact Embarcadero and ask for a "bump".

I don't use Delphi on real machines anymore, only virtual machines.

I also use Delphi in many VMs. To overcome the installation limit I have switchen to a Network Named License and make use of my own license server (ELC). This allows me to install Delphi on as many VMs I want as long I have it running on up to three machines simultaneously.

So how much Network Named License cost?

If you have an active subscription, contact Embarcadero to have your standard Named User license converted into a Network Named User license. The price is the same and they usually don't have a problem with that. But beware that you will have to run your own license server to use such a license. It's not trivial but also not rocket science either. I run ours in a VM under a minimal Ubuntu Linux server because it needs less resources than Windows, but it can also run under Windows.

Thank you for the information!

For sure: the basic license is for 3 installations on different numbers. Only one Delphi can run at a time.
I have automatic page translation turned on. That's why sometimes I miss it. I apologise.

Určite: základná licencia je pre 3 inštalácie na rôznych počítačoch. Naraz môže bežať iba jeden Delphi.

Would you mind writing in English, please? Otherwise a Personal Message would be a better choice.
