Delphi 11: Text in the Messages Pane is illegible!

The Messages Panel font size is illegible (line-height is too small):

 

 

There seems to be no way to separately set the font size or the line height for the Messages pane?

It got a little better after setting the font size in the Registry from 12 to 11:

 

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Embarcadero\BDS\22.0\Theme

 

 

 

But it is still not optimal. If I reduce the font size in the Registry further then the font size in the IDE menu and in the Object Inspector becomes too small! So there should be a separate font setting for the Messages pane!

FontSize setting is not officially supported. So there will be some issues with it. Probably they have implemented it for some light tweaking for people, who need different font. And you are exceeding the limitations of their implementation.

Rather, it seems that their implementation of the Messages pane is flawed. (Line height not fitting the font size).

Even if it was fixed, what next? Options dialog? About dialog? There are limits for customization in any program. There is a feature, meant to solve exactly your issue - UI elements being to small, but you do not want to use it. Instead you are trying to use a feature, that is not meant to solve such issues and even not officially supported. And it does not produce the result, you want. So who is guilty in such situation? RAD Studio developers? Really?

You make silly offtopic FALSE assumptions. You have a legacy outdated concept of customization. Customization can be done in a smart way. Explore the possibilities of smart customization.
