Marc, I may be late on this, but why are you doing this? TFDQuery is exactly what you asking for, in other words, TFDQuery is a mix of TFDMemTable, TFDTableAdapter and several TFDCommand's. That's the whole purpose of having the TFDQuery. Also TFDQuery IS in memory, it's not putting it's DataSet on disk then reading and writing it. Now, f you know of a way to create an FDQuery from a FDMemTable please post it and put me in my place. Good luck.
