    @AlekXL This isn't the official embt forum! If you dislike Marco closeing a thread in their forum, complain about in there! We are only responsibe for closeing threads here. And we sometimes do this for good reason!

    EMBT needs a long-term strategy. This could include a open source part. (Only) Open Sourceing Delphi (or parts) isn't the solution, it can be the end.

    But this was the "old-gen" compiler beeing subsituted for most of the targets now. Only the Win32 and OS32 compilers are based on it.

    Seems to be taken from: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55455875/copy-database-to-tethered-client The manual creation of the Stream leads to a memory leak. I would prefer the stream as inputvar. ms.SaveToStream(fs); Should write it to the client.

    This causes problems with the ide; the GetIT-Package-Manager doesn't work without it for instance. Instead of fixing this problems they removed the option to deactivate this "feature".
