There are other solutions.
The FireDAC addon wasn't gratis btw.
-
AnyDAC (the predecessor of FireDAC) was a split off from CoreLabs (now DevArt) database components.

The database access components from DevArt are a good alternative to FireDAC.

There seems no problem for me. If you comform to the conditions of the community licence you can renew your licence.

But still no update to the Roadmap!

It is possible to add further components. But the results may differ from the expectations.

BoldForDelphi
The original source code of the Bold library for Delphi Version 4.0.1.0 Bold for Delphi, Release 4.0 - 2004-04-23
Bold is a tool in the MDA (Model Driven Architecture) space, which allows you to start with an UML model of your application and a set of business rules written in a high level language and “execute” the model after creating a graphical user interface for it. Bold includes a sophisticated object-relational mapping layer, ability to map data to multiple formats, changes synchronization, and much more. It includes a large amount of IDE integrated tools and options to work with external UML modeling software.
For more information see:
The project source code has been made available by https://www.embarcadero.com/ and published under an MIT license.

Just now, Lars Fosdal said:ARM is an architecture, not a brand.
The Apple chips are ARM based.
I know. Your question was wether any Macs stay x86.

9 hours ago, Lars Fosdal said:Well, the next MacBook Pro will be ARM64.
If that exercise works out, will any of the Macs remain x64? There already is a Windows for ARM64. The only constant is change.
No, Apple will completely switch to their own apple silicon.

10.4 was very late, so (I estimate) 10.4.1 will be late, too.
It seems where is a shift from 2 versions a year to an version every 2(+) years. (With less new features btw.)

This library isn't an typical GetIt-Library. It's just used to distribute the installer. The installation of help files should be possible.

We have to wait and see...

They do. Only a small fraction of apps already got a arm version.
