Uses Clause Manager in Tree in r2809

Sure, this is a place to discuss. But there is no need to get mad to each other. This thread is quite dominant in all listings of recent activity and indeed this happens from time to time when a thread is quite active. Nonetheless you should accept when other people say "come on, keep it short". Honestly, it is a very specific topic and as long as we have no option to really ignore a thread, it pops up again and again. So this thread has an impact to this community. By nature of couse, because this community is a place for discussions. So when you are contribuiting to a thread that sticks out like this and is basically a conversation between two people, there might be some reactions to it - yes. I think we all need some forbearance [never used this word before, but dictionary says it is right 😉 ] here.
  2. You're getting slightly off-topic now.

place of "mark site read" Button

where exactly do you want this button?
  4. well ... I do not agree that this file is unsuitable. It actually works quite nice with any browser out there. We might find a smaller replacement, but a saving of a little less than 300 kbytes (the file is cached anyway) is actually not on top of my todo-list.
  5. Embarcadero released a patch for Delphi 10.3.2: https://cc.embarcadero.com/item/30886 This patches fixes the backwards-compatibility for runtime-packages. Usually the minor version-updates (like 10.3.1 to 10.3.2) should be binary compatible. This was not the case for this update. Packages built with 10.3.2 were rejected by applications built with 10.3.1 or 10.3.0 - also by Delphi itself. So especially all IDE-addons are affected - if they are compiled with 10.3.2. I have just updated the "wuppdi Welcome Page" after applying this patch to my Delphi-Installation. Let's cross the fingers and hope for the best. 😉
  6. Sure they do. The Win32-compiler is still maintained. And even a LLVM-compiler is not an out-of-the-box product. But sure - just ranting might be more easier for you. Sorry for you.
  7. This is simply not true. You might feel uncomfortable with the current situation, but please refrain from spreading wrong information. Thanks 😉
  8. I have just adjusted the title of this topic. Just „very strange issue“ could also apply to nearly everything. 😉

Do we have a spam problem?

The mods do a great job here, but we definitely will have some more protection against these spammers.

  11. This problem was fixed some time ago, but maybe not for your version of Delphi, it if it not the latest release. I usually support just the latest version of RAD Studio, simply because I have no older versions installed right now.
  12. The new Update 2 is available. You can read about the news here: http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Rio/en/10.3_Rio_-_Release_2 Changelog: http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Rio/en/New_features_and_customer_reported_issues_fixed_in_RAD_Studio_10.3.2 Download: https://cc.embarcadero.com/Item/30880 (Webinstaller) https://cc.embarcadero.com/Item/30882 (ISO-image)
  13. Hi Santiago, this has been discussed several times in the past. Quite simple: Andreas was not interested in a subscription. Parts of his code are now licensed by Embarcadero, some of the fixes went into the product.

    GExperts and Delphi 10.3.2

@dummzeuch Ich have just downloaded the sourcecode and compiled the DLL. The DLL identifies itself as version 1.3.13.78, Delphi 10.3.2 is on build .6593. I cannot confirm an access violation while closing the IDE. I have just done a couple of tests, opened some projects, opened some of the experts - but no access violation.

    quality embaradero.com is empty

Yay ... no open issues anymore! No - joke aside: They had some database-problems over the weekend and I am sure that the items will come back shortly.

    notifications query question

    Interesting. I'll look into this.
  18. Yes, thank you. 👍 I do no totally agree with you, but this is clearly not the question.
  19. @Donald Shimoda There is no need - and in this community especially no room - for personal attacks. Being upset is one thing, but insulting does not help anyone.
  20. Sorry, but speculations about intentions and persons won't help here.
  21. Yes, but nontheless I like the idea of a self-service portal. Given that this will really allow me to use my perpetual licenses without any further troubles. (I am clearly not intending to re-install twice per day but about every 12-20 months I clear my VMs to have a fresh system.)
  22. No - this would be a violation of their terms of use. If they wanted you to download a PDF, they would provide a link for this.
  23. I actually can access this book - but only online in their reader. This might be the "limitation" for this free offer.
  24. 😉 I am feeling a little stupid here. But how can I download this book? There is an option to *buy* the E-Book for 9,99 USD. Maybe this would be the way to go for a download?
