If I got this right, there is a bug in Sydney that prevents Mitov's codes from working properly and I assume Mitov is aware of it. If that's the case, then it is fair to say Sydney is not supported in Mitov's codes. Mitov is a EMB MVP. This issue may raise further questions if Mitov has also brought the bug to EMB attention and as been unable to get a resolution.

There are modern COBOL IDEs for Windows including COBOL VM servers most of which can be linked to various modern programming environments in the usual ways.
