  1. Hi! I read 200 pages of Marco Cantu's book on Delphi, which may be good for a particular reader, but for beginners, IMO, it lacks in-depth explanations and only skims a topic a bit. Anyways, I am interested in the book How to Program Effectively in Delphi for AS/A Level Computer Science by Dr. Kevin Bond. Is it a good book for beginners?
  2. Hi, I have just released new book: Delphi Thread Safety Patterns. https://dalija.prasnikar.info/delphitspatt/ It is on promotional sale until June,14. You can use Coupon Code: DTSPATT10 at checkout to get a $10 discount. At the moment there are two options: you can purchase eBook only or bundle: eBook and paper edition (those are separate purchases that go through different sellers and you will receive instructions for paper book with the eBook order). Paper book only on the Amazon is not available for the time being. Thank you all for the support!
  3. I just had to do it... Go with the flow! It's the Black Friday / Cyber Monday "season", so I had to rush the book offer The book was actually scheduled for release in early December, but then the Black Friday deals started popping up all over the place... pressure was building... and I finally caved in! I cut the darn thing in two, and decided to offer Part I at a discount, and will give Part II for free to all Buyers. Not really a 97% BF discount but hey... Junior is still studying, and we still have to pay the bills (Corona doesn't help, either)! So, here it is! I hope you'll like it like you did Delphi Memory Management! https://dalija.prasnikar.info/delphiebap/index.html Thank you all for the support!
  4. Final version of my eBook Delphi Event-based and Asynchronous Programming has been released - 291 pages. You can find more information and purchase option at: https://dalija.prasnikar.info/delphiebap/index.html Thanks to all of you who purchased the incomplete pre-release version (179 pages) of my eBook! After a minor delay, the full version is here! You can download it through the same PDF/epub/mobi links that you have received earlier from FastSpring via email. The subject line of that email message was: "Your Delphi Event-based and Asynchronous Programming - Part I Delivery Information". If you have any problems, feel free to contact me via the contact form on my site. Thanks again! Happy Holidays to you all!
  5. I have created GitHub repository with code examples from my book Delphi Memory Management for Classic and ARC Compilers. It is still work in progress (there is plenty of code) and currently, it contains examples from Part 1 and Part 5. The rest is coming... https://github.com/dalijap/code-delphi-mm
