Library Path Add button disabled

I haven't tried to add a new library path for at least  year and now I can't add anything. Whereas the Add button is meant to enabled once you select a folder, it no longer does so.

 

Also, if I select an existing path the Replace button does not enable.

 

Anyone have any ideas what may cause this?

I have found the solution. I was working in idiot mode. The path I was trying to add was already in there.
