Cannot create appliction.exe

HI.

I have this problem that is becomeming more and more frequent.

I got to the point that on each second compile (or building, makes no diferene) it happens.

If I exit the IDE immediately I am able do deletee the appliation.exe and restart the IDE.

But if i invoke the taskmanager the system freezes and my only option is the shutdown button

It is a nightmare.

Anybody has any suggestion?

Something is blocking the file(s) from writing. Check out for viruses and settings in applications that could lock the file, is it a shared folder? First step could be to add the folder to the antivrus exception folders lists to keep it locking the files there.

Sure, if Task Manager is causing freeze then

1) the system is broken and faulty and missing components,

2) it could be that or your devices is infected with malicious software, or 

3) have you installed 17 Antivirus ? then uninstalled some or all of them ? this symptoms could be coming from rouge left over filter drivers, 

 

Fix your Windows, Delphi and Embarcadero (in this case) has nothing to do with your problem.
