passing a TJSONObject to datasnap.

If I create a TJSONObject in a client application and pass it as a parameter to a DataSnap server where is the object freed.  Is it freed in the datasnap client or the DataSnap server.   I would say the client after passing because the client and server might share totally different memory..  Can somebody share some insight on this issue.
