    Hello, I use IBX to connect to Firebird 3.0. If I monitor communication with the server using the TIBSQLMonitor component, the monitor truncates the text "EventText" in the "OnSQL" event for longer commands to some 506 characters. The remaining characters are just the character #0. Has anyone solved it? I have Delphi 10.3.3 and Delphi 10.4.2 and the bug is in both. I was looking for a bug and I think I found it, but I'm not able to "beat" the system package. Thank you for your help.

    I have a problem with my application crashing on Windows XP / Windows Server 2003. It wouldn't even give any exceptions. After troubleshooting, I found out that the issue is caused by IBX. Just adding an IBX unit, e.g., IBSQL, to the uses clause of an empty application causes the crash. I'm not sure after which Delphi upgrade this started, but I think it was after upgrading to 12.1 or 12.2. Has anyone come across this? If yes, any solution or workaround?

    Hi, I'm doing a talk this week (15th Feb 2022) for the ukDeveloper group www.ukdevgroup.co.uk as requested by a member. It is about using the IBX components and implicitly Interbase & Firebird. I couldn't find any information about which versions of IB & FB the D11 version of IBX played well with and if there are any gotchas. Does anyone have any input / insight into any of this? Thanks in advance. Jason.
