Connection to registration server

Recommended Posts

I am trying to install Delphi community edition on my windows 10 laptop but keep getting this error.

"Failure attempting to connect to registration server: license.embarcadero.com
Correct the error and attempt to register again"

My internet connection is working and I have tried switching off Windows defender firewall.

When I type the URL in it gives me the following:

license.embarcadero.com refused to connect.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Please help.

Ok I used my smartphone to register the product on:  license.embarcadero.com

Now when I continue the installation I get this message:

My Internet connection is working.

I have also downloaded the ISO file for Delphi 11.3 but when I try to install it, it says that I canon install it in offline mode.

Yeah, Embarcadero sometimes fights with their servers. They'll come around eventually. I guess Delphi 12 is lurking, and the servers are being prepped for it.

You can only hope. I watched the C++ webinar to get an idea what we can expect from D12. The C++ part was far from finished.

Do you have same WAN IP on both machines?

There was a case where someone used a VPN internet connection and his WAN IP was from other country and who knows for what this IP was used for and rejected by some server firewalls.
