Can not debug on iOS

Recommended Posts

Hi

I can compile and my app appears on the iPhone and I can run it. But I can't seem to step trough the code.

However, I can step though code if I deploy to the simulator.

I have read the documentation, but it hasn't helped.

What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks

Alan

If your device has iOS 17, debugging with Delphi is currently not working. There's yet to be an ETA on a fix for it

Not happy debugging here either, so my silent hope was 12.2.
But it turns out, that Delphi 12.2 doesn'T change andything, as they told us yesterday.
I'm still preparing my move to Delphi 12.2 for testing, so I still have min imal hope 🙂

They've said the simulator is working again, perhaps they will address now debugger problems.

Simulation doesnt help much with IoT Devices, unfortunalely.

Has this issue been solved in the new Delphi 12.3?

I believe you mean Delphi 13.0, however the answer is no. Bear in mind that it appears Flutter overcame this issue only last month, after it being outstanding for them for 2 years.
