Payment - Monetization - Good international PSP

I have no idea where to ask for help, but hopefully that post might help other Delphi developers.
I'll try not to make an advertise 😁

 

I've build a program to help Network Administrator to monitor a network with two editions: Community edition (Free) and Professional Edition (Paid).
The Community edition has the basic functionality and can be upgraded to Professional Edition.
I've build an eStore to control the license and payments ( Delphi / PHP). The application show the modules to purchase and launch a link to the payment service provider (PSP). Once the payment is done, my eStore receives a notification from the PSP, processes it and the license is unlocked.
Currently I'm supporting Paypal for international purchase and Paypal and Cielo for local purchase ( Purchase made in Brazil ).
Both Paypal and Cielo are working flawlessly, but some friends told me that Paypal is not well seen by companies and will search for other application just because "Paypal is not company friendly".
I was wondering if someone has a better experience with some other PSP that can be added/integrated in my store.
As I intend to sell oversea what are the options I have that are "company friendly" that can work with Delphi. I will mostly focus on credit card payment.

Some time ago I sold shareware games (written on Pascal btw) and used Plimus to receive international payments via cards.

Now its site redirects to bluesnap.com and seems this company does the same thing even cheaper.

And there are many other companies which you can use to receive payments. Most of them can provide all necessary papers for companies/corporations.

PSP leaves most tax related things to the seller (you). BlueSnap says "Most BlueSnap customers are responsible for collecting taxes themselves. For guidance, please contact a tax specialist.".

For oversea sales, other companies, which also do all tax related processing, might save you some time and money.

Thanks for the direction. I'm checking a few (including Stripe) and I will include BlueSnap too. There are a lot of options!

Major cards, it's a must for me. When i use any other channel for software that i use in my business, all hell ensues in the end of the year and i end up paying taxes for the library. So i use one dedicated Visa for all business purchases. From that card i get the list and then i can sift through e-mails that look and are formulated in a wide variety of ways and find the actual receipt. Order lists, notifications et. al. is not ok to put to my accountant. If my tax authority sees that i'm smoked. So the visa and the list of purchases is absolutely essential. In short; i do not have the resources to manage more than one payment channel.

Major card is a must for me too. I released my application (VCL) with an embedded shopping cart that is powered by Stripe and Paypal. Both offers major cards and local payment methods. All purchases will end up in my business Stripe or Paypal account. Still have to see how I will handle receipts. Brazil is known as the country with most entangled taxes, so one can only hope that working with other countries will be easier.

Phew. Man. I know. Seriously your country has some basic problems with administration per se, regardless. Please, no offence intended. Sweden is known as the country with the highest taxes. Personally i do not think that is a problem. But we also have a rumour of being great administrators. That is so so not true these days. Comparing our countries is almost a folly in it self, but the results of money being horded by a few is felt worldwide.

 

Since all of these things changes rapidly in our times, i should say that it was more than 15 years ago that i had a brazilian girlfriend and had the huge privilege to visit your country not just as a "tourist". I came home with a full-size case full of CD's.

Nothing is basic in my country  (Take Amazon Rain Forest as the latest example) There's a lot of thing this administration must do, or else....
Anyway, selling worldwide shows how confident I am with solving our basic administration problems in a foreseeable future

Thanks! I will have a look. I wrote my store in Delphi, it's easy to incorporate new providers. The problem is the other way around. Would the provider want to work with me? (Ingenico never reply my emails) I guess my transaction volume scared them! 😋

I use PayLane for Credit Cards. They have nice and easy to use REST with good documentation: https://devzone.paylane.com.

Do you have sample code of the paypal processing?  I want to use paypal for a project and need guidance.  Not to well versed in JSon
