vmishka 0 Posted December 7 I have Delphi 12 Community Edition installed. I registered for a TMS Software VCL UI Pack Academic Edition. The downloaded zip file unzips to a setup.exe. When I start the TMS Installer (setup.exe), I immediately get a message from "Setup": "Delphi/C++Builder not found. Do you really want to install the components for Delphi/C++Builder?" If Delphi is running when I start the installer, the installer recognizes that Delphi is running and says to close it. How should I proceed? Is there something missing in the Delphi installation that the installer doesn't find it? I cannot find anything on the TMS Software site that covers this "error." Thank you for any help. vmishka 0 Posted December 7 Thank you. I did post it on their forum as well. TMS doesn't monitor academic license posts. So far, I haven't received any reply from there. Share this post Link to post
Mark- 29 Posted December 7 When did you post it? It can take several days, from my experience. Share this post Link to post
vmishka 0 Posted December 7 I posted it on the TMS forum at the same time that I posted it here. There, it has two views in 2 hours and no responses. Share this post Link to post

vmishka 0 Posted December 9 In case anyone else runs into this problem, I contacted TMS support directly. Their academic products do NOT work on Delphi 12 Community Edition, only Delphi 11. they will get around to fixing that eventually. Not at all satisfactory, but that is the way it is.
