SonarCube Plugin for Delphi

Hi,

do you know a working plugin for SonarCube to analyse Delphi projects?

 

I know "https://github.com/fabriciocolombo/sonar-delphi/network", but this is still outdated and not working.

Last time I tried his, it worked for me, but it's been a while.

I believe we have more votes than any other new feature request.  But last time I contacted their CEO, he said "it wasn't on the roadmap for now".   Maybe if we get enough votes that will change his mind...

I had allready voted for it 😉

 

I talked to Marco Cantù at Foren-Tage in Mannheim (https://forentage.de/) last month.

He said that a sonarcube plugin is not planned by embarcadero.

I think that embarcadero can provide a better parser for delphi as the old parser fabricio colombo used for his plugin.

If you would commit to some spending some money on their commercial version, the SonarSource guy might be worth a contact to help push things along.  Olivier Gaudin, CEO/Co-Founder.   (first.last@sonarsource.com)

 

Too many people directly pleading for a free add-on would likely diminish the cause, but if there is money to be gained behind the suggestion, then it would probably help.

I ask my boss. I do not know if we use the commercial or free sonarcube version 😉

It's used by our java programers. I was "only" asked if Delphi is possible.

Delphi ist sill not ontheir web site.

Delphi was on the web site as 3rd party plugin, but it moved quickly to unsupported.
