Linux : app icon problem

I run my app on Ubuntu 20 and it runs fine. The problem is that the icon app I have set in the project properties isn't shown. I only have the Linux default icon.

Any idea ?

see about icon types that should be used in this O.S., maybe some png or bmp especific (internal datas)

Thanks. But if I reset to default icons (from Delphi itself), it's the same.

Are you providing an .ico file or images for the icon?

If I remember correctly, .ico is a Windows only thing.

Yes I do. If I move .ico to the desktop folder in Ubuntu, it appears properly. PNG files aso.

 

I'd rather think about a problem creating the "exe".

This post indicates a "workaround".  Not sure why this is necessary.  Is your app an FMXLinux app?

Yes the app is FMXLinux.

 

It runs very fine under Ubuntu 20.
