David Schwartz 426 Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) RzBalloonHints isn't working for me. It just shows a yellowish rectangle instead of a balloon regardless of the ShowBalloon property setting. Can anybody working with the Raize Components (whatever they're called now) verify if this works for you or not? (I've got D10.4.2 with the latest V7.0.0 components installed. Haven't had trouble with any others, just noticed this one is behaving oddly.) Edited November 9, 2021 by David Schwartz Share this post Link to post
Uwe Raabe 2057 Posted November 9, 2021 Are you talking about TRzBallonHints? I never heard of RzButtonHints. If so, they are working here. So may be something special on your side. Note that Delphi provides its own TBalloonHint component for a couple of versions. Share this post Link to post
David Schwartz 426 Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) Yup, TRzBalloonHints is what I meant. I changed the post, but can't change the title. I didn't notice a TBalloonHint component. I'll check it out. ---------------- Nope, that displays the hints exactly the same as if it's not there. I have no style set up or anything that should be affecting these components. TRzBallonHints acts application wide, while TBallonHint can be tied up to the form as well as down to individual components. Placed onto a TDatamodule it can server multiple forms. David Schwartz 426 Posted November 10, 2021 that works, but it's not nearly as nice as the Raize one. It's just the same rectangle with a tiny little "thumb" pointing down and to the left. And I have to put one on every form. Share this post Link to post

Not when you follow my hint with the TDatamodule. 2 minutes ago, David Schwartz said: It's just the same rectangle with a tiny little "thumb" pointing down and to the left. Well, tastes may be different. I prefer the use of an image list and the fact that it is probably better supported in newer Delphi versions than the Raize one. Share this post Link to post
