Michael Collier 1 Posted March 3, 2022 I've been given an IPhone7 to evaluate RAD Studio 11 with (I'm developing on Windows64 machine).. 1) PAServer is required, but I can't install that on the IPhone can I - it has to go onto a MAC computer - correct (I just want to be sure)? 2) I have a MacBook Air available, but it's not here at the moment, but I can have PAServer installed on it and connect remotely- correct? Sorry for asking what might be obvious, wiki still down https://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Sydney/en/PAServer,_the_Platform_Assistant_Server_Application Sorry! This site is experiencing technical difficulties. Try waiting a few minutes and reloading. (Cannot access the database) Thanks, Mike Share this post Link to post

Define "remotely". On the same local network, it is straightforward. Across the internet you'd either need to expose the PAServer publicly via the router using port forwarding, or use a VPN. Michael Collier 1 Posted March 3, 2022 Thanks Dave, I was thinking of port forwarding, great I'll give it a go.. Share this post Link to post
George Birbilis 1 Posted April 14, 2022 Isn't exposing it just via port forwarding insecure? A VPN would help "hide" it 1 Share this post Link to post
