Connecting Delphi 12 IDE to Google Gemini AI

Hi

I can connect to the AI via a curl script, but I cannot from the IDE.
When I click the "model" edit box I get:

Quote

Cannot load the latest available models, please check the Api key and the Base url.
Error: 404 - Not Found

I haven't tried to connect the IDE to Gemini AI but for normal applications try using FB4D

I don't know how this will help me. I want to ask the AI questions, directly from the IDE. I have never used this kind of plugin and I want to try it now.
So, I use Delphi's embedded support for this (in IDE -> Options -> Smart code design).

Yes. That was the problem. I already posted the solution (correct base URL) here.

In your linked post it's not clear what BaseURL to use. 

I used this one "https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta" and it works.

Maybe you could update your post.
