fsatreport CE Tokyo and Rio and FastReport.

I have both Tokyo & Rio installed. I used GetIt PM to install FR VCL & FMX 5.6.17.

The FMX components are installed but theVCl components are not. GetIt shows the Uninstall button. Click it and the uninstall fails.

The design package list in Tokyo shows FR FRX 2.0 components at
C:\Program Files (x86)\FastReports\FastReport FMX Embarcadero edition\LibD25\dclFMXfrx25.bpl.

The C:\Program Files (x86)\FastReports\LibD21 folder has bpl files.
The C:\Program Files (x86)\FastReports\LibD26 folder is empty.

I have also uninstalled via the Control Panel. Uninstall failed.

What do I need to do to get FR VCL CE 10.2.3 (Tokyo) and10.3 (Rio) to install?

You can try to get FastReport CE directly from FastReport:

While I don't see 10.3 in the supported versions list, I hope that this version is already available. I use the paid FastReport 6 VCL, which supports 10.3 starting from release 6.2.10.

That installed FR for XE7 & Tokyo CE, but not for Rio CE.

 

Is there a Rio CE version of FR?

Get in on Tools>GetIT Package manager

I have Delphi XE2 and Rio 10.3.2. Both with FastReport.

When you install FastReport from GetIt, it is installed in wrong path.

 

Default path where FastReports are installed is C:\Program Files (x86)\FastReports.

 

The current installation overwrites the files of the last installed version.

After that, you can't uninstall both versions.

 

Fast Report should be installed to different directory.

XE2: "C:\Program Files (x86)\FastReports\FastReport 4 Embarcadero edition"

10.3: "C:\Program Files (x86)\FastReports\FastReport 6 Embarcadero edition"

 

If you have installed FastReport in C:\Program Files (x86)\FastReports\LibDxx you have to uninstall it first.

 

Where to get the installation?

After installation from GetIt, necessary files are in: "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Embarcadero\Studio\20.0\CatalogRepository\Fast_Report_VCL-6.2.1-10.3"

Uninstall it and install again in correct directory, never in same with other versions...
