Efcis 0 Posted October 17, 2022 Hi I followed the process to get the community edition, and got a license for 10.4.2 (Sydney) by mail. Unfortunately, after install, I realized this current version doesn't support my OS anymore, and found that 10.3.3 Rio (I installed) does. But the license I got in the first place isn't "backward" compatible with 10.3.3. How to get a license compatible with community edition 10.3.3 ? I tried the Delphi support with no joy, who sent me here for help. Thanks ! Share this post Link to post
Uwe Raabe 2057 Posted October 17, 2022 There simply is no license for older Community Editions than the current one. CE licenses are restricted to one year. After that one can get a new license but for the then current version only. If you need to use an older Delphi version you are supposed to buy a full Delphi version, where the license covers older versions, too. Share this post Link to post

Nigel Thomas 35 Posted October 17, 2022 What OS? D10.4.2 Community Edition runs fine for me here on Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11. I don't recall having to jump through any hoops to get it working in Win7. Share this post Link to post
