dummzeuch 1505 Posted September 7, 2023 Did Embarcadero buy SmartInspect? When? Last time I looked, it belonged to Code Partners Pty. Ltd. Share this post Link to post
Brian Evans 105 Posted September 7, 2023 Far as I know it is still with Code Partners where the product pages are excluded from being indexed by search engines so very few people will ever find it. It has amazed me for a while how a company can produce a product, sell it on the Internet but make it non-discoverable using search engines. Just checked and the product page ( SmartInspect – Code Partners (code-partners.com) ) still has: <meta name='robots' content='noindex, nofollow' /> Share this post Link to post
Vincent Parrett 750 Posted September 7, 2023 @Malcolm will be able to answer this. Share this post Link to post

Clicking any "buy" link on Embarcadero's website leads to code-partners.com/shop, so I assumed they were the same company. I wonder why they would contract out sales of their products, instead of directly and with no middle-man? Share this post Link to post
Brian Evans 105 Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) For me the buy links on embarcadero.com don't end up on the Code Partners website. It might be geolocation for those in Australia as I think Code Partners are the local distributor. Edited September 8, 2023 by Brian Evans Share this post Link to post
