Script Errors galore when launching Delphi

The last time I used Delphi (Tokyo or Berlin), I had no issues. Today, I launch either and I am bombarded with Script Error popup messages. Here's a video showing the issue:

So what could have possibly broken to affect both versions of Delphi?  I have turned off my firewall and that made no difference.

The Embarcadero website might have changed where the scripts it attempts to execute are not supported in the embedded IE browser in the IDE. Disable the Welcome Page and it'll probably go away.

Thanks, but as you can see from the video, the Welcome page is already disabled.  That made no difference in regards to the problem.

did you accidentally changed the rendering mode for Delphi?

try to add bds.exe with decimal value 11000

Well, adding bds.exe made A difference.  Instead of 2 dozen error messages, I now get a spinning WAIT glyph, which after waiting 30 seconds, is followed by 5 script error messages.  I also get some crazy content in one of the dropdowns.

I see. Maybe you could try some other values, like 11001 or 9999, but I'm out of ideas if that's not helping. 😕

I can reproduce this here (only tested with berlin).

I suspect Embarcadero deleted or changed files at their Community page which has broken this.  I would think tens of thousands of other developers would be experiencing this issue too, seeing how this option is on by default.

What menu is that?

 

 Found it in the main menu context. It looks like I uninstalled (along with many others) the BPL that had this community thing.

Just right mouse click over the button bars at the top of the IDE.

The issue occurs with XE4, XE5, .... through XE11.

I can duplicate this issue on Berlin 10.1 - and the fix posted by @instrumentally. CE 11.3 does not have this issue.

FYI: Click on the Red Dx/Rx icon to get the main menu to appear.
