Gexperts for Delphi 13

Recommended Posts

I'm away at the moment and can't build an installer, but the current source code compiles with Delphi 13 and works with the 32 bit IDE.

Just confirming that latest GExperts built from source work in 64-bit IDE.

Alt+Shift+S no longer works for Grep (maybe Emb assigns the hotkey to something else?)

Works for me.

But there has been some intermittent problem with the keyboard shortcuts in GExperts not working at all. You can probably solve it by opening the configuration dialog and just closing it with OK without changing anything.

I had the same problem, search did not react on keys Alt+Shif+s. By a restart of my PC I saw in a flash a screen with LSP exception and disappeared ...... After PC restart it worked again. (Talking about 32-bit btw)

Opening and closing the configuration dialog doesn’t resolve the issue. Assigning the hotkey to a different key combination works; however, I can’t reassign it back to Alt + Shift + S afterward, suggesting that the original hotkey is likely already in use.

The issue has been identified: Microsoft Edge registers a global hotkey for Alt + Shift + S. This behavior has been corrected in the latest version of Edge, so updating the browser resolves the problem.

Thanks for the head up.

I completely lost control of my left hand when it tried to learn another shortcut for this.

Order is now restored.
