dummzeuch 1745 Posted yesterday at 11:39 AM (edited) The latest Steema blog post "Schniering Uses TeeChart Pro to Power STRADIVARI® Road Analysis Software" is about my employer Schniering GmbH. I didn't know this was in the works. The tool STRADIVARI they are talking about is not the only tool that uses TeeChart but it is the most visible for customers. The map feature they show in the first picture is completely developed internally though. The same goes for the "Route and raw data tapes" they also show a screen shot of. We tried to use TeeChart for it but it turned out too difficult. For the record: I wasn't involved much in developing STRADIVARI, that's mostly done by a coworker. Der schöne Günther 340 Posted yesterday at 01:14 PM The map and the overlay is also TeeChart, or is that the "Route and raw data tapes"? Share this post Link to post
dummzeuch 1745 Posted yesterday at 05:14 PM The map does not use TeeChart at all. It's completely our own internal development: 5 hours ago, dummzeuch said: The map feature they show in the first picture is completely developed internally though Share this post Link to post

Your colleague did a stellar job there. I guess there must be a pretty huge database under all that information! Share this post Link to post

I guess there must be a pretty huge database under all that information! The map itself (the gray background part) is usually supplied by the customer in MapInfo or ESRI shape format, so there is no database involved (apart from the DBase table that is part of these formats). Only the coloured parts are based on our database. And yes, the drawing was a lot of work to get it right (and fast: STRADIVARI is much faster than e.g. MapInfo in the drawing part, it took us two nearly complete rewrites to get to that speed). 3 Share this post Link to post
Anders Melander 2137 Posted 4 hours ago FWIW, the map image's click-to-zoom function doesn't work. It works on the other images. Share this post Link to post
