SVG control package v2.3 update 4 released

The main change in this update is a redesign of the SVG image list and the SVG linked image list.

I looked at your page, thought it interesting and considered downloading the demo and give it a test. Then I read this "If you by a license, it will include a subscription that is renewed automatically every 12 months."

 

And closed the page.

Yes, I can't keep developing the package without some income.

 

But if you had read a bit further it says:

 

"If you create an account during the order process, you can check the details of your subscription order in the password-protected “MyCommerce ID” area of the Customer Care Center and cancel the subscription in question there directly."

No, I am purchasing a product (as is), not funding your future work.

Why should I be forced to take steps to end a subscription I did not want?

Why not have a checkbox, when ordering, to provide for a subscription verse forcing a subscription?

If you don't like the terms, don't buy the product. We all have a right to set the terms of any products that we sell.

The hosting site "MyCommerce" from Digital River doesn't provide that option.

 

I offer 3 ways to end a subscription so there is no need to feel that it is forced upon you. I can also do that for you if you just send me an email.

 

I fully understand if you don't want a subscription but there are many customers who use the software in there own commercial applications and do want bug fixes and updates and support.

 

Simply selling lisences doesn't create enough income, the community that is interested in this kind of product is just too small. At some point you sold all the lisences you are ever going to sell. So that is the background for this subscription license.

Dude, I was giving potential customer feedback. Not telling him he MUST do something or preventing him from selling how he wants to sell or infringing on his "rights". SMH

The prices were ok, I started scratching my head at this: 

"Delphi Source code of the SVG control package, this includes:"

"The source code necessary to parse and render svg graphics"

......

I could not decide if one would get all the sources or partially just dcu's or whatever.

Sorry if that is not clear. The license gives you the full source code.
