somebody is using rubicon 4 with firedac firebird?

the most important question, it's reliable, it's scaling?

it's better than firebird embedded sql full text search?

As of today I can't answer that question, I suppose it is, it's based on Lucene++, you'll have to find out yourself

Check out the "Delphi Third-Party" section of this forum. Ann Lynnworth just posted an update to the Rubicon software with links to the product information and a link to their dedicated support forum--lots of users and answers there.

Basically it provides database neutral full text indexing to Delphi database applications and comes with components and examples to make it easier. I used Rubicon over a decade ago at work. Was fast and easy to use back then and I imagine it still is. They have a web site that allows searching of Delphi related newsgroups as a demonstration (Code News Fast: Search Delphi and CPPBuilder Newsgroups).
