Delphi 11.2 Patch 1 bug ??

Hi.

 

Just installed patch 1 from Embarcadero and when i reopen my project i noticed some strange behavior with VCL.... The panels colours aren't show in IDE anymore... 

 

 

if you press the mouse in any component the colour appears....

 

 

I'm considering uninstall the patch.

Is it reproduceable if you make a new project from scratch?
If it is - register the problem on the quality site.

This is at design time, does the issue persist at run time?

I urge to create a bug report with detailed steps to reproduce. It should be verified that the patch is the real cause and that it doesn't happen without it. That allows others to confirm this or give hints what configuration is necessary to make it happen or not.

 

The changes incorporated in this patch are probably pretty small, so the cause should be easy to find.

Is on the Tools -> Options -> User Interface -> Form Designer -> Enable VCL Styles ? If yes, then try to turn it off. Does it help ?

Thanks to @Dmitry Arefiev i solved the question.

 

Indeed the "Enable VCL Styles" are the culprit... The funny part is that i never enabled this option, so it seems that it's enabled by the patch.

The patch does not enable that, but IIRC it is standard behavior since 11.2.

I have the same issue, altough for me it is the "Mymic the system style" option under "Enable VCL Styles" that is the culprit

That one is new with 11.2 and it is indeed enabled by it.
