PeterPanettone 157 Posted April 14, 2019 (edited) In The IDE, many UI elements have an associated ToolTip Hint, for example: This Hint is shown when the mouse pointer hovers over the UI control. However, many UI elements do not show an associated Hint, for example the Search field in the IDE title-bar and in some windows: This is an INCONSISTENCY which confuses the novice user and is also illogical. What do you people think? Shouldn't all UI elements show a hint? (There could be a central switch to activate/deactivate the hints if the expert user doesn't need them anymore). Uwe Raabe 2057 Posted April 14, 2019 There are already a couple of issues regarding these controls in the title bar. I suggest to add this to QP so it can be fixed together with the other ones. Share this post Link to post

But more generally, the primary issue here is the UI INCONSISTENCY mentioned above. Edited April 14, 2019 by PeterPanettone Share this post Link to post
dummzeuch 1505 Posted April 15, 2019 Are you aware that this is neither the embarcadero support forum, nor the quality portal? If you encounter bugs, you should file bug reports in the latter. 2 Share this post Link to post
