  1. Hello, I am getting a memory exception when parsing numpy data buffers passed using the PyArg_ParseTuple() method. I am using C++Builder in 11.3. I updated my P4D yesterday, using the auto installer and code from the master repo. My code on the C++ end is: PPyObject array1( PPyObject self, PPyObject args ) { TPythonEngine * eng = GetPythonEngine(); unsigned int i1; unsigned long num_points; double * data; int ret = eng->PyArg_ParseTuple(args,"y*",&data); // copy data num_points = python_interface::num_points; for (i1=0; i1<num_points; i1++) python_interface::test_array1[i1] = *(data+i1); return eng->ReturnNone(); } on the python side I have: import numpy as np import python_module num_pts = 10 python_module.array_size(num_pts) test_arr1 = np.linspace(1.0,10.0,num_pts,dtype=float) python_module.array1(test_arr1.data) test_arr2 = np.linspace(2.0,20.0,num_pts,dtype=float) python_module.array2(test_arr2.data) The data is passed fine, and the values are consistent. The exception occurs when the ReturnNone() call is made. Project p4d.exe raise exception class $C0000005 with message 'access violation at 0x00c1d000: read of address 0x000000b8'. Exception occurs regardless of whether or not data is copied. The script does not continue pass this point, and returns the exception so the second array is never passed. Any ideas? Please let me know if you need any other info, and any help would be appreciated.
  2. Hello everybody, I'm a novice with the OTL. And I've written a simple app to experiment with it. But it causes the EOSError with the "System Error. Code: 1400. Invalid window handle." message in the TOmniContainerWindowsMessageObserverImpl.PostWithRetry method. Could anybody explain what is wrong with my code and (if it is not correct) provide a fix or solution? I use Delphi 10.2.3 (Tokyo) and OTL 3.07.9. Any help is appreciated.   3. Hi Folks, in one ouf our projects I'm using @Daniele Teti 's loggerpro library (https://github.com/danieleteti/loggerpro) instead of a homebrew logging solution. A few weeks after switching to loggerpro, a first Eurekalog bug report came in with the message: "EMonitorLockException in ThreadSafeQueueU.pas: {ThreadSafeQueueU}TThreadSafeQueue<LoggerPro.TLogItem>.Enqueue, Zeile 157 (0)". This exception is clearly raised inside loggerpro. I have already asked at GitHub (https://github.com/danieleteti/loggerpro/issues/53), but have received no reply yet. Every month or so, another of these bug reports comes in. The problem is: - I cannot reproduce/trigger it on my development PC, even though I think I can locate exactly, where and under which circumstances it happens - I don't see any obvious error in the loggerpro code - I don't see any obvious error in my code which is why I'm asking for help here. Maybe I have missed something obvious in my code... We have the following scenario: The main thread starts a background task (IFuture), which builds up an index of files for later use. Both, main and background task log their status with LoggerPro. Normal work continues here Note that in this case the updater was finished (stLoaded) before WaitForCompletion was called. The Log.Enter "--> Updater.WaitforCompletion" line may occur anywhere between the lines of the background thread (TID 14984 in this case). This is the LoggerPro output matching the bug report. Normal work continues here Note that the updater was still working (on nothing ;-)) when WaitForCompletion was called. It looks like Log.Exit('WaitForCompletion') and Log.Debug('Updater.Status - stLoaded') happen in the same millisecond, so I assume that thread 3312 still held the lock, when exception thread 20620 called `Log.Exit`. But I see this all the time (finish/exit happens in the sme millisecond) when I run the code on my PC and never get an EMonitorLock exception. Is there something we are doing wrong or have we come across a race condition in LoggerPro or the Delphi locking implementation?

    DSIWin32 ComObj

    I am using OTL in a 64 bit Delphi 10.2.3 app (haven't had to look at it for a while). I have updated OTL and I now get a ComObj can't be found error in DSIWin32. This is fixed by changing it to System.Win.ComObj. One question, is DSIWin32 the correct unit to be used in a 64bit app?
  5. Hi, After updating to delphi 10.4 and SDK 29 the camera and gallery do not work on Android 10 Also delphi examples don't work. After taking a photo from the camera the app doesn't return anything while the gallery, after choosing the photo, raises this execption First chance exception at $ 00000074D87D473C. Exception class EBitmapLoadingFailed with message 'Loading bitmap failed (/data/user/0/com.embarcadero.CameraRoll/cache/IMG_20200911_1728082355078942815963051.jpg).'. Process CameraRoll.apk (11714) any ideas?

Consider the following: I have a method that raises an EAggregateException that only contains one inner exception In my try block, I would like to extract the one inner exception and raise this instead. procedure raiseAggregate(); var innerExceptions: TArray<Exception>; aggregateException: EAggregateException; begin innerExceptions := [EProgrammerNotFound.Create('hello')]; aggregateException := EAggregateException.Create(innerExceptions); raise aggregateException; end; procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender: TObject); begin try raiseAggregate(); except on e: EAggregateException do begin if (e.Count = 1) then raise e.InnerExceptions[0] // <<< that would be too easy else raise e; end else raise; end; end; How do I do this? I cannot simply use raise e.InnerExceptions[0] because e gets destroyed at the end of the try..except block. This is a problem because e owns its inner exceptions. When e gets destroyed, I have basically raised a destroyed exception. In case you're not familiar with the System.Threading.EAggregateException, you check the .NET documentation. Embarcadero documentation does not exist.
