fmxLinux missing?

Recommended Posts

I have updated my Delphi 12.1 Enterprise to version 12.2,  selecting the Windows, Android and Linux platforms in the installer.

But the Linux platform seems to be missing in the IDE and fmxLinux is unavailable in GetIt.

Am I missing something?

Still no news on when it will be available?

I haven't seen anything yet.

This might work

getitcmd -i=fmxlinux-12-1.78

this is the version that is installed in 12.1, and if you use the getitcmd from the RAD Studio command-prompt it should install and work.

It works 👍
(I haven't used this method of installation before)

It works for me too, but it isn't an official solution, so it may not work for everyone in all circumstances. Likewise, it is possible there are some incompatible use cases in 12.2.

Sadly, this did not work for me.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\23.0\bin64>getitcmd -i=fmxlinux-12-1.78

Command finished with success!

C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\23.0\bin64>

Don't know if it matters that 12.1 has not been installed on this laptop prior to 12.2.
