Debugger keeps the execution line centered

Recommended Posts

The debugger keeps the execution line centered in some files. How can I turn this off? It's very annoying.

I guess, the spooky part is the in some files...

It's random and started with 12.2. I was hoping it was a bug and would be fixed, but it's still there.

If it were a bug and it is not filed in QP it most likely will never be fixed.

To file it as a bug report in QP (with hope it going to be fixed) one needs a detailed description and steps to reproduce.

Nah, that would be called "Community Edition". For the paid version, I'm just complaining that it's shit.

Any helpers installed? Such as GExperts, cnPack or MMX?

Change for a while unit on tab and back.

You are my hero!

So is it a bug? Is there a setting that causes this?

I am not aware of any setting. There is a setting in MMX that acts during navigation, but it doesn't show the behavior you see.

So, after making the issue go away, the key question is: Can you reproduce?

I also get this behavior pretty often. I have MMX, GExperts and CnPack, although I disabled all the editor and debugger features for the latter two. Pretty random occurrence though, haven't noticed a pattern that would reproduce it.

Kinda, same units produce over and over.

It's brutal how the IDE has evolved over the last couple of years (under the hood), you can't even compare it to 10.2 anymore.
