I have just finished making the stand alone GExperts Grep to really be stand alone, that is: It no longer needs the GExperts DLL but contains all the functionality in one executable. It has also been compiled with Delphi 11 Alexandria so it should be per monitor DPI aware. Most likely printing unit sources has been in no ones mind when dark theme was introduced. I suggest filing a QP report. Otherwise this will for sure never be taken care of.

Individual settings will overwrite the one set on the parent. What I really don’t like from this perspective is that there is no “force inheritance”. You change a setting topmost, but if the same setting has a different value somewhere, it’s not going to be changed.

Let's just say I am on the wrong side of 70 and I prefer to sit down with a cuppa and a piece of paper and read through a new piece of code, making notes on the paper as I go. In this case it was only a small unit. Most cases I just print longer function and/or procedures so I can digest them. Old habits die hard.....
