johnnydp 20 Posted November 4 Anyone knows if EMB plans are for 12.3 maintenance bug fixing focused release or we wait for 13 (or skip unlucky no.) and go to 14. It's a shame that there is no roadmap like it was for the last decade and more. Share this post Link to post

No mention of a 12.3, however in a webinar (I think the one for 12.2) they said 13 would not be skipped. 1 Share this post Link to post
johnnydp 20 Posted November 4 Too bad, every buggy major release like 12 undoubtley is should have final bug fixing minor or at least big patch, including final patched totally ISO closing release. Like Version 11 have such all in one iso build which does not require to install later any patches. Share this post Link to post

I think major releases (11, 12, etc) should get new features, minor releases (11.1, 11.2, 12.1, 12.2, etc) should be mostly focused on fixing minor problems and bugs. I guess people don't want to wait for new features but then what's the point of a major versus minor release? 2 Share this post Link to post

Anyone who would have such info would be under an NDA not to discuss it until Embarcadero announced it publicly first. Share this post Link to post
