    Delphi 12.2 available for download

A gross generalisation on their part. It's entirely possible to create large applications without using a single Enterprise/Archtect feature.
  2. All Almediadev and DelphiStyles products are tested and ready to use with RAD Studio Athens 12.2! https://www.almdev.com https://www.delphistyles.com Also you still can order products with discount!

    ICS 9.3 SVN SMTP Attachment

The line: FEmailBody.Add('Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable') {AG} is unchanged in 15 years. But I will test the sample to make sure it works, in a few days time. Angus

Two CE Versions on same PC

Yes, that also matches my own understanding. Different main versions are independent.

I was more targeting a system on top of the current JIRA Service Desk, not replacing their internal JIRA. After all it is the web interface that sucks, not the fact they use a cloud based JIRA in the first place.

Two CE Versions on same PC

I'm pretty sure installing different versions of CE on the same PC will work. But I have never used CE myself, so this is only an (educated) guess based on what I know about having multiple regular Delphi installations on the same PC. It would be a good idea to have an up to date image backup of your PC before trying it though.

Two CE Versions on same PC

The beauty of open source libraries is that you can update and recompile them yourself for a new version of Delphi. There are no major differences between 11.3 and 12.1 that would prevent an upgrade. A month and a half ago I installed the new version of Delphi CE 12.1 myself. I use some unsupported opensource libraries in my programs. To recompile them, all I had to do was add a few defines. However, I have not uninstalled the old version of CE yet, and I currently have both Delphi 11.3 and Delphi 12.1 installed on my home computer. My Delphi 11.3 key will be valid for another 227 days. P.S. Which Open Source library do you use in your program?

Two CE Versions on same PC

While I don't use CE and don't have an official answer for you, I would highly doubt this is possible--don't jeopardize your current installation! The CE FAQ doesn't answer this specific question but the fact that 1) it doesn't allow Delphi & C++Builder (only one or the other) and 2) doesn't allow CE and a paid version on the same machine, I'm almost positive it wouldn't allow two different CE versions to coexist. You could, however, install a virtual machine, and try it out there as it would be a completely separate environment.

Perhaps an MVP project could do it?

Delphi takes 9 seconds to start/shutdown an empty application

If a market share value goes down, it does not imply that the absolute numbers are going down. If there were only 1 million Windows systems in the world, their market share would be 100%. Now when 4 million iPhones are sold, the Windows market share goes down to 20%, but there are still 1 million Windows systems.

The people responsible for the feature matrix obviously have another look at things as we developers.

So they assume that user using the Pro version do not create large projects? I think its more a money thing again.
  13. All dates prior to 1900 will fail. I "simply" copy three routine form System.DateUtils to my implementation uses section (call them with My... like MyISO8601ToDate .....) and change that line. That seem to works.
  14. I've been using C++ with VCL since the early 1990s and still think it's the easiest way to write C++ GUI windows apps.

    TLS v1.3

Did you download only the main code, or did you also download the PR #299 code on top of it? No ETA at this time. My understanding is that the code works as-is, but still needs to be updated/finalized to include design-time support, added to all of the supported packages, etc.
