    2022 Stack Overflow Developer Survey

Next year SO: I've found 3 programmers of the same tastes and appropriate sexual orientation near you. Send them "lunch pull request"?

    2022 Stack Overflow Developer Survey

I presume that they are concerned that their community isn't discriminating against any particular groups of people.
  3. Now includes Delphi / RAD Studio options. I encourage you to take the survey! https://www.ideasawakened.com/post/make-your-voice-heard-2022-stack-overflow-developer-survey-includes-delphi
  4. Please avoid asking any question not directly related to ICS in this ICS dedicated forum. Indy has his own support channels.

These sort of shitty posts are precisely why SO ask these questions.

    Change splash_image_def.xml by default

This can be avoided by simply disabling it from the project deployment and creating yours with the same remotedir and remotename. Whenever possible, it's better to do this in your project than in the default delphi files, because you won't be able to share your project with someone else without them having the same issue unless they also edit their default splash . Here's a practical example of a project that does this: https://github.com/skia4delphi/skia4delphi/tree/main/Samples/Webinar - Demo/FMX
  9. It used to work in Indy, so I thought it'll work in ICS too. Indy must have been removing the # part of the URLs silently. Thank you for your help, Angus.

    # in URLs results in HTTP 400 or 404

    # is an anchor, an instruction to the browser on how to display the page, it is never sent to the server as part of the URL by a browser. Your application should create a valid URL by removing the #. ICS does not validate the URL for illegal content. Angus
  11. Dream on. It would be: "There are mostly gray headed/bald Delphi developers in your area"

    Delphi 5 Printing

This may or may not be relevant, but this thread reminded me of a fix I made a while back, adding the following line to my printing code Printer.Title := ProgName + ' calcs '; // 11.11.18 latest Win10 update falls over without this
